Demanding The Best For Yourself

There’s an amazing quote by the stoic philosopher Epictetus:

How long are you going to wait before you demand the best for yourself?

No, we’re not talking 45-inch TVs and 5-star trips to Hawaii (although, can someone sort me out?).

It doesn’t even have to be a big deal. It’s just about your every day. Your happiness.

Relationships. Health. The food you eat. The music you listen to. The way you spend your time…

Isn’t it about time you prioritise yourself?

And I know you’re probably rolling your eyes and telling me you just don’t have the damn time.

That means you probably need it even more.

And when you DO start demanding the best for yourself…

…POW.

You’ll see it positively impact ALL THE THINGS.

I also think you should start demanding more from your movement practice, your mindfulness journey, and how these impact how you feel every day. Yoga classes should make you feel unbelievably alive, empowered, inspired, and in-tune with your life. Come see what I mean inside my Joy Collective.
